Character and Movement Analysis

We have been tasked to bring an object into college and use them as characters to act out the outline of the story given to our group – “A character enters a new world and react to their new surrounding”

The performance has to be 1 minute maximum so my team thought of a simple story of a rabbit whose goes to hell because he forgot to wash his rice.

Reflection from the class:

I definitely felt awkward to work in a group after a really long time but it was nice to be able to exchange ideas and try to come up with things on story line with my team.

Life drawing week 1 (29th Sept 2022): Gestures drawing

Reflection from the class:

I haven’t done life drawing in a while and could see my skills taking a huge step back, so I was upset to see my drawings. However, I am not disheartened as I believe that I will improve even more in the future.

Overall week 1 reflection:

Week 1 is rather an introduction for me to the course so we didn’t get to animate or do any exercises apart from getting to know what to expect from the course and the upcoming presentation on an animator’s work.
